Shyaonti was commissioned by the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms Division to rewrite one of its core modules on Critical Thinking and Problem Solving for school leaders. The module had to be contextualised and made culturally appropriate to suit the South Asian school scene. The work included restructuring the content, contextualising and modifying activities, finalising tangible learning outcomes, mapping activities with objectives, introducing cross-curricular and co-curricular aspects, evolving a mentor and participant-friendly template and vetting finished work.
As a core-skills facilitator, she is involved in delivering all 6 core-skills modules through principal and teacher workshops, reviewing lesson plans made by teachers and evaluating the implementation of the input programmes determining the incorporation of core skills in the curriculum.
